Annual Membership is $75. If competing in the #13 World Series - BTRA Membership is optional
The 2009 season will feature eight events.
All events are USTRC Affiliated with Regional and National Finals Shootouts possible.
All money won, not resulting in a Shootout will count toward generic Shootouts.
All events will start with the #13 World Series, (check the Events tab for dates). The BTRA “Mulligan Five Header” ropings: #11 Roping, with a #10 incentive, and the #10 Roping with a #9 Incentive will follow.
| "MULLIGAN 5 HEADER FORMAT" |
Every team competes in Go-Round 1 and Go-Round 2.
One qualified time in either of the first two go-rounds allows the team to progress to the third go-round and remain eligible for the average and incentive payoff.
A “no time” in round three eliminates the team from progressing to the next round, regardless of success in previous rounds.
Average and Incentive payoff will be on a four steer total.
Teams catching all five cattle will have their slowest time thrown out.
All places in the average and incentive will be filled. If there are not enough teams that have 4 qualified times, the remaining positions will be filled by the teams catching the most cattle with the fastest times.
There will also be a “fast on two” payout from the first 2 go-rounds.
However, teams winning 2 or more places, can only claim the largest payoff - the resulting forfeit of winnings will be claimed by the next fastest teams. No team can win more than one payoff.
